Our Beginning
La Prensa Tacos & Tapas was created to bring authentic Mexican food to Sterling, VA. From the start, the goal has been to make a welcoming space for families, friends, and everyone who loves real Mexican dishes. Our menu features tacos, bowls, quesadillas, enchiladas, and tapas made fresh daily. Every dish is prepared with care to give guests a true taste of Mexico. We want every visit to feel easy and enjoyable.
Cooking and Community
Chef Tomas Lobato hosts two-hour cooking classes to teach guests how to make Mexican dishes at home. These classes are hands-on and a fun way to learn about cooking and culture. We also have happy hour Monday through Friday, 4 PM to 6 PM, with tacos, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a chance to enjoy fresh food and connect with friends. Community and learning are a big part of what makes La Prensa special.
